Description

A soft, breathable handmade baby nest designed to create a calm and cosy space for your baby during rest, bonding time and everyday moments at home.

Made from a soft linen-viscose blend, this baby nest feels gentle on delicate newborn skin while allowing natural airflow. The cocoon-style design creates a snug, defined space many babies naturally settle into, helping them feel comfortable while resting close to you.

Many parents use a baby nest for daytime lounging, playtime or supervised naps in the living area or nursery. Lightweight and easy to move between rooms, it allows your baby to relax nearby while still having their own cosy space.

The nest includes a firm foam mattress suitable from birth and a removable fitted sheet for easy washing. The mattress can be removed when cleaning the nest frame.

All fabrics are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, ensuring they are safe for babies.

Suitable from birth up to approximately 11–12 months, depending on your baby's size and development.

The nest can be loosened at the bottom to extend the inner space slightly.

Care Instructions

  • Removable fitted sheet – machine wash at 30°C using a mild detergent
  • Select a delicates cycle with low spin (maximum 800 RPM)
  • The nest frame can also be washed at a low temperature on a gentle cycle
  • After washing, reshape the nest and allow it to dry flat
  • Do not tumble dry
  • The mattress is not washable

We recommend using a waterproof mattress protector to help keep the mattress fresh.

Natural linen fibres may show light pilling with friction over time. This is cosmetic only and can be gently removed using a fabric shaver.

Important Safety Information

Baby nests are intended for supervised use only. Always place the nest on a stable, flat surface and never lift or carry the nest with your baby inside.

Do not place the nest on raised or unprotected surfaces such as sofas or tables while your baby is inside.

For overnight sleep, we recommend following NHS safer sleep guidance and using a cot or Moses basket with a firm mattress.

Is this baby nest suitable from birth?
Yes. It is suitable from birth for supervised lounging and daytime use. Always place it on a stable, flat surface and supervise your baby at all times.

Can my baby sleep overnight in a baby nest?
We recommend following NHS and Lullaby Trust safer sleep guidance for overnight sleep, which advises using a firm, flat sleep surface such as a cot or Moses basket.

Typically from birth up to around 11–12 months (the bottom untied), depending on your baby’s size and development. If your baby is starting to roll, push up strongly or looks cramped, it’s time to stop using the nest.

Does it come with a mattress protector?
The nest includes the mattress and a fitted sheet. We recommend using a waterproof mattress protector to help keep the mattress fresh.

Why might the fabric show small bobbles or pilling?
Linen is a natural fibre and light pilling can occur with friction over time. This is cosmetic only and can be gently removed using a fabric shaver.

Will the colour look exactly the same as in photos?
We aim to show colours as accurately as possible, but tones can vary slightly depending on screen settings. As natural materials are used, subtle variations between batches may occur.
